Anointing of the Sick

Special in the sacrament of the sick, the entire parish community prays for the seriously ill, the sick or infirm, aged and those with emotional stress or illness. Whether in communal or individual celebrations of the Sacrament, the church prays that the physical and spiritual health of the person be restored. This is not the sacrament of those only who are at the point of death. Saint Jude the Apostle has three annual liturgies which include the anointing of the sick.


Ministry to the Sick

The parish reaches out to those unable to celebrate the Eucharist regularly with the community i.e. the infirm, the elderly, the critically ill and dying and those are hospitalized. All are welcome to request communion. Contact: Gary Heun at 414-259-0950.
