RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process for welcoming new members into the Roman Catholic Church. The R.C.I.A. program begins preparing candidates from September through the Easter Vigil. After a period of listening to Scripture, studying the Church's teachings, praying and participating in liturgical rites, prospective Catholics spend the Lenten period intensely focused on final preparation for receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, which takes place during the Easter Vigil.
